Christine DeYoung founded Jet RVSM Services, LLC in 2006 after recognizing an industry-wide need for specialized assistance in obtaining RVSM operational approval from the FAA. She noticed that many owner/operators were acquiring new and used aircraft without a full understanding of the RVSM approval process or the requirements for a properly drafted RVSM Operations Manual and application package. Christy has worked closely with every FAA FSDO and IFO in the country while preparing over 550 manuals for aircraft in all size categories from all major OEMs including, Boeing, Cessna, Eclipse, Embraer, Falcon, Gulfstream, Hawker/Beechcraft, Learjet, Socata and Pilatus.
Christine DeYoung attended The University of California at Davis and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Christy started her aviation career in 2003 with Cessna Aircraft's Sacramento Citation Service Center. She earned her private pilot’s license in 2004 and her instrument rating shortly afterward. In July of 2004 she joined Cessna Aircraft's newly formed RVSM Department in Wichita, KS. In her role as a Customer Support Engineer, she assisted hundreds of Citation operators in obtaining RVSM operational approval and performed numerous GMU (GPS Monitoring Unit) height monitoring flights across the US.
